Nick's services
Nick has around 30 years of expertise, designing and planting gardens of various styles and scales, in a range of soil types and situations in London and Suffolk. Based in Woodbridge, he is happy to quote for full garden designs, border design, most planting work, including clearance and preparation, and will undertake consultation visits to advise on plant selection, design, maintenance and garden planning issues.
This could include liaising with and advising regular maintenance gardeners to ensure your garden is maintained to the highest standard and using an artist's eye to select exciting and delightful planting schemes. - Planting
Nick is conversant with a range of design styles and has extensive plant knowledge and experience. He is particularly interested in naturalistic, informal planting schemes which attract wildlife into gardens.
- Garden design
Trained at The English Gardening School in Chelsea, Nick will prepare full designs, showing hard and soft landscape elements, for installation by other contractors, though he will undertake the soft landscape works himself if required. Smaller areas/individual borders also considered.
- Garden consultations
Nick can advise on planning and maintenance issues, including management solutions and strategies for existing maintenance gardeners and creative ideas for maximising enjoyment of outside space.
